About FFL Class 3 and FFL application

Firearms have lately become an integral part of personal safety and security. Business people have now started venturing into the firearms business. Before starting such a venture one has to do an FFL application. FFL is the abbreviation for Federal Firearms Licence. Dealing in NFA (National Firearms Act) requires that one have a FFL Class 3 licence. FFL application does not only allow you to start a firearms business but it also provides the necessary legal framework should you want to possess a firearm.

Most people have erroneously thought that to own a firearm all you need is a FFL Class 3 licence. On the contrary, what you need is a Special Occupation Taxpayer (SOT). The FFL application is guided by some requirements and regulations which are set by the Gun Control Act of 1968.

Lately we have seen the emergence of online home-based FFL class 3 licence dealers. A good example is ffl123.com which is very essential in helping expedite the process of a class 3 FFL application.
